Based on a true story that takes place in the neighborhood of Patraix (Valencia), A Widow’s Game tells the story of María Jesús Moreno Cantó, better known as Maje, an attractive and determined woman with a brand-new marriage and a life that seems, on the surface, calm and ordinary.

One day, her husband is found dead in a garage, setting off a police investigation that will eventually point to the young widow and one of her lovers.

Ivana Baquero plays the role of Maje, while Tristán Ulloa portrays Salva, her lover, in this new film from Bambú Producciones (The Asunta Case, The Alcàsser Murders) for Netflix. Carmen Machi completes the main cast of this project directed by Carlos Sedes.

Composed by Adrián Foulkes and Federico Jusid, the soundtrack underscores the unfolding police investigation that seeks to uncover the truth behind the death of Maje’s husband.
