Madrid, the 1920s. Marchioness Elena de Valmonte spends as much time as possible in the kitchens, exploring her true passion and escaping from her authoritarian husband. One ordinary day, both she and her maid, Cecilia, become involved in an incident that changes the course of their lives and turns them into fugitives. In their flight, they find refuge in a long-closed restaurant in the capital. Driven by her love for cooking, Elena decides to reopen the restaurant and contacts Julio, the owner of the establishment, who offers them the opportunity to launch ‘La Favorita Bistró’, a place where the brightest cooks and maids in the country can shine. However, the lease contains a hidden clause in the fine print that they will soon uncover.

The soundtrack of the series, composed by Federico Jusid, Guillermo Pita and Gustavo Gini, manages to create an atmosphere full of tension, personality and authenticity that transports the viewer to 1920s Madrid.
